Definition

Diarrhea describes loose, watery stools that occur more frequently than usual. You may also experience abdominal cramps and a greater volume of stool.

Causes

Acute diarrhea causes may include:
    Antacids containing magnesium

    C. difficile
    Campylobacter infection
